Our Mission

VDTC is a collective of like-minded Tigrayans in the diaspora advocating for justice, peace, and the restoration of the constitutional rights of the Tigrayan people. Our mission is grounded in truth, democracy, human dignity, and territorial integrity. We are not affiliated with any political party or government—our commitment is solely to the people of Tigray.

Core Objectives

• Pursue justice for genocide and war crimes committed against the Tigrayan people
• Resist authoritarianism and promote rule of law and democratic institutions
• Restore Tigray’s full constitutional territory
• Advocate for the safe, voluntary return of all internally displaced persons (IDPs)
• Protect civilians from war, displacement, and systemic suffering
• Promote civic unity among Tigrayans and support diaspora engagement
• Engage in diplomatic efforts to elevate global awareness and policy

About VDTC

Voices of Diaspora Tigray for Change (VDTC) was formed by Tigrayan professionals, students, and advocates living in the global diaspora. United by a shared sense of responsibility, we aim to amplify the voices of those silenced by war, displacement, and injustice.

Our work focuses on advocacy, public awareness, and truth-based documentation of the Tigray genocide and its long-term effects on civilians. We are not affiliated with any political entity — our cause is people-centered and rooted in the values of democracy and justice.
